I don't have an office or a work space as I am on the road working with clients 100% of the time. Not traveling with my laptop therefore wouldn't really work out.
no offense either, I'm just puzzled by your statement.
Being as it is encrypted and backed up, then you and your company really shouldn't be in a "world of hurt". Perhaps a significant inconvenience and financial cost for replacing the equipment, but you should not be at risk of data theft or loss.
Or maybe that's what you meant by "but If I lose it, my company is still in for a world of hurt."
