I find the "whistle blower" approach strange. This seems more of a union issue - probably a legitimate grievance if normal channels are used.

Why do folks sometimes cut their noses to spite their faces. I don't get it. If we all desert AA, does it help the pilots union? TO satisfy these types of complaints, I suggest that the govt give priority to safety and national infrastructure support and eliminate protection from competition.

Allow liberal travel rights to global carriers on a reciprocal basis with strict safety requirements. Safety will be preserved and like the rest of us outside the airline industry, airline staff will have to deal with global competition.
