One last thing. I'm a pretty laid back guy and I don't let most things bother me, especially when traveling. But NOTHING gets under my skin more than the sense of entitlement some people have (not only elites, although they really take the cake). It always amazes me to see someone stroll onto the plane with their huge carry-on and lay it lengthwise in the overhead, essentially taking up the space for 3+ people with their one bag. Now ultimately the blame lies with the airline for not enforcing their own rule but at some point a grown man or woman should realize that what they are doing is incredibly selfish and has an negative impact on their fellow travelers. I mean you can't blame everything on the airline.

First is even worse with people bringing on huge rollaboards, stuffing them up there and then putting their laptop bags up there in another bin. I mean, we're elites right? We shouldn't have to have anything under the seat in front of them right? I enjoy it when their seatmate gets on the plane and has no place for their bag and the guy just pretends not to see them while they are rummaging around trying to find a place for their bag. I just stare at them challenging them to acknowledge that maybe they could have put one of their bags under the seat.
