And in my experience until 2001, UA had 4 (four) daily flights of B737 R/T ORD-MBS. I had pocket loads of VDB paper-coupons because those flights were oversold so frequently. That is almost 250-350 pax daily.
I can't help it that the talented management of UA over the years frittered away this lucrative market segment (despite the help of Comair and Continental Express that pulled out) and diverted it to DL/NWA and AA.
