1. They treat their frequent flyers well. Above average service. Great IFE.
2. Catering quality on flights has gone down terribly. Economy meals used to be tasty, now I just hope for something that's not terrible. Business meals are pretty average, not as good as they used to be and quality of the meals has suffered. First meals I have a much smaller sample but I can say that the quality of meals ex-HKG is nowhere near as good as ex-LHR.
Also CX should have better lounges. Lounges at outports are sometimes terrible but even in Hong Kong, the CX F & J lounges are not as good as BA/Qantas in terms of ambience and food offerings. Granted, CX has a bigger lounge but that's not really a big benefit.
In CX's home city, they should at least be able to claim they have the best lounge!
