I considered the helicopter tour but didn't take it as it lands on the flat (boring) part of the glacier; the hiking tour (which climbs the face of the glacier) is much more fun and the business end of the glacier has more features to look at. Of course the aerial views are stunning separately from the glacier (but maybe better from fixed-wing aircraft).
