I just love travelling to and staying in south east asia with a penchant for Thailand and Indonesia. I have often woken up from a long haul flight from europe to check my world map to see which country I am flying over and there it is...Myanmar.
I have peaked out the window many times but only once or twice have I had a nice clear view of some part of the country.
I have chosen not to travel there as I have concerns well documented.
I hope to go there some day (a few aman lodges perhaps?), in the meantime I came across this hotel which looks interesting and the type of place I would ask about here on the luxury forum, if i was going to Myanmar:
