You may be right trying to do a bit less driving and more R&R. Here are some comments:
1. Get a chauferred car from the hotel. You'll have an educated driver who speaks english well and can make a big difference in your trip considering how difficult the roads, driving, and navigation will be. I did this about 3 years ago and it was around $200-300 / day plus a small tip for the driver. You dont have to do thisif you have reliable transportation planned.
2. Jaipur and Udaipur: maybe pick one or theother, this will give you more time to relax and / or do something else (go for an entirely different experience, see 3 below).
3. Spend 2 days at one of the luxury spas in the Himalayas. The terrain and weather are so much different there from theother areas you will be visiting. Lush green scenery, cleaner surrounds, cooler weather, and really enjoyable. There are 2 or 3 recommended spas but I tried and recommend ANANDA (a bit expensive but luxury accomodation, great scenery, good food, all types of spa and asian and indian massage therapy)

Up high in the Himalayas and pretty close to the Nepal border.
This is close to Haridwar and Rishikesh. These are towns of great significance to India 9close to where the sacred Ganges river starts), and most Indians willbe impressed if you tell them you went there becasue they never had a chance to go. you will enjoy an authentic indian experience and get to witness the daily religious ceremony at sunset on the Ganges river, even tak a dip in the cold water where this river starts flowing down the Himalayas, where it is still cool and clean. Then you can stroll around and grab a really goodlocal dinner. you can take a train (1st class of course) from DEL to Hardiwar and have Ananda send a driver to pick you up at the train station. They can also arrange VIP transportation and seating for you at the river ceremony. I highly recommend this for honeymoon relaxing and to see another side of India.
