We'd definitely try this, as the terminal are connected by a short walkway. Unfortunately, this is a ski trip and he'd have too much stuff to schlep.
Flying on a codeshare is quite a hassle, what with the confusing checkin location, inability to ONCI, no seat assignments until day of the flight, no perks. We only did this to get the CO miles since he is close to a reward
Oh well, live and learn: I should have checked here first!
