And why can't the rule just say non-solid if that's what they mean?
You'd be better off leaving it at home unless you want to 'voluntarily surrender' it to TSA. Some of that stuff out gasses acetic acid when curing which rapidly corrodes exposed copper (smells like vinegar) - thinking what might happen if the tube was damaged besides the awful mess.
