I have done this for 3 months. The points are very slow to credit - between 30-60 days. But they do get there eventually. I am an AOL member and I get the 500 points.

Yes, the auto salesman does call and we have a nice little chat. Vehicles Online also follws up in e-mail a few times.

Non-AOL members should go the to main AOL/AAdvantage page and select "Shopping." Then select the one about "Auto" (not sure of the wording, it's about the 2nd one on the list under shopping). When you click that, you will see two buttons - one for AOL members (yes they do verify this), and one for others for 400 points. Good luck.

There is no point confirmation, and the points do take a long time. Keep notes on what you do, so you can do it once a month and not pester the same dealer twice.

I really am looking for a car and I find this site very interesting.
