how often are you giving access to lounge as gold member? how about room upgrade? Only when booking at Hilton.com, how about priceline, expedia and so?
Is there difference between gold and diamond? are diamonds treated much better in usa hiltons?

Since I've become a Gold VIP I have stayed 3 times in Hiltons. In all three I was given the upgrade, breakfast for two and late checkout (which is not a benefit). In two of them I received lounge access and the third I didn't because the hotel did not have a lounge (I was upgraded to a Deluxe room instead and the breakfast was a full american breakfast not a continental in that hotel).
Hotels were: Hilton Times Square (no lounge), Hilton Toronto and Hilton Montreal Bonventure.
