I have a ? with the above situation.
What would Marriott offer (if anything) if the hotel property doesn't open in time for my booking ?
I'm using pts on this one and the deal is amazing considering it's a cat 3 for what should be a nice property (I know the building/area well). Would Marriott push me into another property for the same value as the original booked hotel .... i.e. - bump me up to a cat 4 or 5 property ?
... and yes I made another booking to cover my behind but not w/pts.
