My reservation was canceled by Asiana. I followed up with CS in Los Angeles and was told there was no availability on my return date, but I had flyasiana.com website showing seats open in the morning, as well as connecting flights through BUS. The CS said "I'm sorry, I can't do anything for you." and we ended at that.
I jumped over to koreanair.com and found availability on those dates, but would really like to have my *A account credited. So frustrating!

The problem is that the flights are just full. Many booking systems I looked at show no availability whatsoever. Sometimes some systems show phantom seats but flights on that day are really full.
On flyasiana.com you can still book one way tickets CJU-GMP for 2 April OZ8902 and OZ 8904 for roughly 93,000 won but all other flights are packed.
It is just 560 miles return anyway so you won't be getting that much in terms of miles.

2. Do you know someone who speaks german? I always book my korean domestics on OZ through the german expedia.de. The website shows availability for the afternoon that day on the 2:55pm and the 8:05pm flight after some trying - I could book these flights straight away, not sure though if it will go through. The tickets are issued automatically right on the spot and money is taken by Asiana in Frankfurt. Price there is 70$ one way.

When you try to actually book it comes back with an error message saying the flight is not available. Expedia.de is not showing correct inventory, all other Expedia sites show only the KE flights.
