Unfortunately, can't early qualify if you are already a Plat in 2011, but the rest is true.. If I bump my wife down this year, I can do the same thing next year for her, that I'm doing for myself this year.. theoretical.. but I don't think this will happen as FPC Loyalty has upgraded her status for a few years now.
Technically, theres nothing in the rules saying you can't sign up the kids too. (just for fun, discussion only.. don't try this at home).
