I have just been reviewing my family FF accounts (nine in all, elite status on five of them) and have begun to realize that I may have been too harsh on AA.

1. None, US based, have given me such good benefits over the years (at least since SR and PA were around).
2. Few, US based, have stayed out of bankruptcy other than AA
3. Nobody has been so consistent in eVIP's and their equivalents and communicating changes
4. None have been so consistent in award treatments

So, after all my whining and dislikes I realize that AAdvantage maybe still is the best program around. I've threatened to leave for years and accumulated millions on other programs in the process, but I always come back to AAdvantage.

I am certain that I am not the only one with this perspective.
