I don't consider my own bathroom an elite benefit - I consider the bathroom in your class of service to be for your class of service exclusively (with the exceptions listed above). I think people should remain inside of whatever curtain they're in. I think people should make a reasonable effort to not disturb others on the aircraft, especially people in a different cabin. You chose to sit in P, J, Y, so you should remain inside of that cabin. I don't see why this should be so controversial or upsetting to people. When I fly coach, I'd prefer not to have people from first or business clogging up the coach aisles, and vice versa. With the exception of visiting people who are traveling with me, but in a different class of service, I have never had a need to cross any curtain.
Also, no one has yet to address my question of why there are curtains between the cabins, if everyone should freely move between the cabins as they see fit.
Are you a member of the elitist Admiral's Club? The ACs have bathrooms, and at some airports the clubs are significantly closer to the gates than the bathrooms are. Should everyone be allowed access to the bathrooms, regardless of whether they are members?
