I did a search, but maybe did not put in correct terms. Anyway...

I am flying into LAX and be there a week. Need a minivan or SUV for family. I know usually on airport rentals have large fees/taxes, and have used off airport rentals at other aiports and got much cheaper deals.

Are there cheaper "off airport" rental car agencies than one can get to in 10-15 min? Is there local bus transportation to that area?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks
