I remember the first time I flew an AA MD-80 from MSY-DFW. We used the thruster pushback, and I thought, "What a kick this is!" Of course, the process is almost always used at DFW.

It's interesting to see a pushback, whether in the terminal, or from another aircraft, as it's always an attention-getter.

I like seeing the startled faces of those who have never seen or heard the pushback before!

I flew from DFW-ATL on Tuesday, using thruster pushback. However, on the return flight from ATL-DFW, the MD-80 aircraft was pushed back with the tractor.
