I remember a handcuffed guy once joined a BA flight of mine from MAD to LHR. I was sat in an A seat and saw a police car pull up alongside the plane just before pull-back. Two plain-clothed officers escorted the guy up the steps and on the airbridge to board. They sat at the back of the plane. Someone who had chosen to go on the run on the Costa del Sol, I assumed at the time....
