Staring saves lives, or course

The logic seems to be, "Here, I'll stare at a lot of people and make them uncomfortable. Ha ha! Look! They're uncomfortable! Something must be causing their discomfort! Jackpot!"

The TSA struggles so much with earning respect; programs like "stare downs" just make them look completely incompetent.

I say, "stare back then laugh." They'll eventually get the message that this is not a good use of their time.
