How do you justify flying AC, YOW-YYZ

A recent multi-year project with the Government of Canada requires a lot of flying between YOW and YYZ.

For those of you who do not know, the GoC emphasizes lowest cost airfare period. As their Consultant, the GoC books tickets for us. But when Porter is many $$$$ less than AC, how can I justify flying on AC?

- Timing is an issue, and Porter has flights almost every hour, so AC loses;
- Porter flies into downtown Toronto, so AC loses again;
- Porter provides the same services as AC (Porter's lounges are not the best), so service is still comparable, and AC loses again.

So.....I am running out of excuses to justify flying AC, and I REALLY WANT TO FLY AC.

Any advise?
