In general, AA provides the "least expensive" way to get to Europe in business class. By contrast, a read of many, many threads here on the Delta board will show you that not only is DL considerably more expensive (because of the fare class restrictions to YBM), but also simply lets BE seats fly empty rather than process upgrades. So, I can see no sense in what you propose.
