easyJet with a youngster?

In May our family (two parents, one toddler) will be on holidays in the UK (we live in Canada). We'll need to get from Inverness to London - A route that I see we can fly on easyJet.

Normally, wrangling kid & luggage etc. I'd avoid easyJet, but if memory serves they offer various 'a la carte' pre-pay options for early boarding, extra luggage etc that might make flying an LCC with a kid do-able. My only problem is I can't seem to find a nice summary page on the web that outlines these offerings, so I can determine what I might want/need.

Am I remembering this correctly? Does easyJet offer these options? Where can I learn more about them?

Also, does easyJet only offer online check-in, or is that Ryanair? We won't have a computer with us, so I'm not sure we'll want to try to hunt down an internet cafe... It would be much nicer if we could check-in at the airport.

Thanks in advance.
