If you can select your Y seat on .bomb, then do it.

I had something similar happen once when I wanted to change my upgrade instrument from CR1 to e500s (or vice versa, I don't remember). In the process, my selected seat in Y got zapped from my itin and I had reverted to an unassigned seat status. Lesson learned, always check .bomb after talking with an agent.
