If you're going straight to AKL, is there any logic to flying to HKG on BA and then on to AKL with CX (Seasonal F)? Alternatively BA269 to LAX and then QF26/BA7302(No F) to AKL. It just seems to me that the extra stops should be avoided on a trip that long. Either of those routings would give you CCR access, although F becomes a question from either LAX or HKG.
