I'm actually surprised to find that among those on this board who are BR fans, few of you seem to be Transcend users. I prefer the Transcend line for a few reasons:
1. Transcend generally weigh less than the Baseline pieces. (24" expandable wheeled upright weights 12 lbs. 3 oz. for Transcend and 14 lbs. 10 oz. for Baseline)
2. Transcend costs less than Baseline. (on ebags, the same piece above costs $459 for the Baseline vs. $329 for Transcend)
3. The Transcend handles are very comfortably padded compared to Baseline pieces.
4. Better color choice (assuming you like luggage in a color other than black).

Someone asked whether anyone had trouble fitting the 20" expandable into overhead bins. I actually bought this piece, then persuaded BR to exchange it for a different piece because it wouldn't fit into AA overheads (Super-80s, I think) even when it wasn't expanded.
