Your AA status will - it will allow you to pre select a seat in advance .

If you are overly concerned about your seat on the aircraft, then I would advise you to take BA on this route so you can pre-assign.

While the bussing situation at T3 with BA makes me avoid them for specific T3 routes, Based on multiple flights, I honestly think TP is Europe's worst 'legacy' carrier and would just suck up the busing gates on this route and go with BA.
