I was talking the Shelley at FPC Plat concierge today regarding other Plats expectations. I would agree with you that as a seasoned traveller you should expect the levels of service what you paid for. Can you honestly tell me for what you're paying for a suite, which is similar to paying for a basic room at a Best Western, that you would expect a level of service that is Triple AAA Five Diamond. Nice when it happens, but I don't expect that to be the case 100% of the time when services are cut because of the recession. Room rates are nice and competitive now, but I have noticed that the i.e. amenities are being cut in half, less seafood at buffet, etc.

I've come to count my blessings 7 years as Platinum.
