Some of the victims were airlifted by a helicopter to a hospital.

An American woman may have broken her leg.
UA employee called ambulance at 1500. This is 45 minutes before the aircraft landed.
About 20 ambulances and fire engines were sent out.
13 women, 5 men total 18 injured.

Turbulence hit the plane when it was descending from 34000 ft. to 30000 ft.
