TAP have a 6kg weight limit on hand luggage. It wasn't enforced when I came back from Porto to LHR a few weeks ago but there are postings about it being enforced. This may be a factor for you. I would hesitate before travelling TAP again for this reason only. Otherwise I'd say there's not a lot to choose between them.
