...which means:
According to Narita Airport and United Airlines, Washington-departed, Narita-bound flight UA897 did on February 20th, while flying above Alaksa, was hit by strong air turbulence. According to firefighters, 17 passengers were injured. Injuries are currently unknown.
However, according to TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System) which I have just been watching here in Japan, there were 20 injuries one of which was a broken bone.
