Waitlisting on CX is for AM members only. MPC status will help, but not other FF status. However, checking back from time to time may help.
That is one of the best feature of AM. People tends to bank other FF mile and want to ticket award ticket with CX metal, but they forgot how hard for them to get available seat while AM member can just waitlist for avaiability.
