Red face Disgusting fuzzy child about food!

There were a number of foods, that I did not like and refused to eat as a child. Most of those foods had stronger tastes or smells from the way they were cooked, that really did not agree with me.

But as I 'grew' up as an young adult and waiting tables during college, I learned there was a finer way of cooking with more refined seasonings and preparation. Along the way my tastebuds became more sophisticated and less sensitive to strong tastes. I have tried many more foods and have been eating better now with the freshest of foods, etc. Even calves liver is one of favorites. and Kidneys in a French restaurant are not off limits. At least they are not cooked to death and have a very tasty sauce to lick the plate clean.

I am convinced the difference is the tastebuds have changed and are less sensitive to certain spices or flavorings.
