On Jan. 30 of this year I crossed the threshold from silver to gold. I thought I would have been registered as gold in the system within the week based on previous responses I've seen. Since it still hasn't happened I called Delta and they said it would be March 1st. I'm hoping that the flights I have taken since will retroactively get credit for gold status.
There must be a problem, according to what is (was) advertised, your status should have been upgraded immediately once the miles posted. Of course Jeff Robertson-trained-agents will always give you the runaround as an excuse not to do anything, but maybe it's better to call back and find out what's going on.
