Thanks for the tips. I would definitely try and get out and around in DXB except for the fact that I am going to be there in pretty much the middle of the night - and while I would normally be pretty adventurous, the idea of going to check out the sights or even nightlife in that sort of timespan is not all that appealing to me. If it was during the day, I would be all for it.

Does you know anything about the Diners Club lounge (I guess it's also known as the Dubai Civil Aviation First Class Lounge)?
