I wonder if they will ever open T6 immigration again? That was the best advantage of taking United when flying international. It used to be only 15 minutes since landing to getting out of LAX (I never check my bag.)
If UA ever adds any more international flights to/from Europe, like LAX-FRA (again), then I can see T6 immigration opening for afternoon flights again.
Either that, or they'd have to negotiate paying lower fees to CBP for staying open.
Otherwise, I'm guessing it'll be shuttle bus to TBIT indefinitely.
