For years, DTW was a tale of two cities. If you were flying NW or another airline that used the McNamara Terminal, you passed through a terminal that was spacious, modern, comfortable, and had good food choices. If you flew AA, UA, US, or other airlines that used the old L. C. Smith Terminal, your experience was the opposite of all that. Though I've only used it a few times since it opened, the new North Terminal seems like a big improvement.
