But seriously, I have heard this - the lie - on every airline I've flown. The one that bothers me more (on other airlines) is the reason given for keeping us seated for the first 45 minutes of a flight, while the FAs get the carts set and out in the aisles. If it's that bad, then why are they up? Then there's the poor old guy who gets up, walks up, and gets sent back to his seat. "Bad dog! No! No!" Then the seatbelt sign comes off, the announcement is made that you are free to move about the cabin, and the aisle is blocked by the carts.
