Uncreative1, you'll need an attorney to subpoena the recordings, but you can file
FOIA and public disclosure requests yourself. It won't cost you anything to submit such a request. You can use the
FOIA letter generator from the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press to generate the FOIA letter to TSA. I'm not familiar with California's public disclosure law, but there's probably similar law that you can use to get information from the airport authority.
