When SQ changed the flight from Newark to all business, I started taking the flight from JFK. Yes, it took me longer but I spent a lot less. Even though I billed my client for the airfare they appreciated my effort. In turn I made more money and SQ made less. Please note I used to fly Executive Economy out of Newark, and my customer had a fixed number of dollars to send on the project. And I wanted to keep the majority of it, and give less to the airline.
