ATS wouldn't do anything about it. I disputed two of the three weeks of admin charges and got them credited to my account a day later.
I just remove the transponder when I get to my car and then pay with cash now.
It's actually $2.50 per day up to a max of $10 per week,regardless of how many days per week you use it.
This is where I have a problem-2.50 per day on days that it is used is understandable and I justify it to myself ans the cost of convenience.But to be charged for days when it is not used is simply a rip-off. Not to mention being charged for tolls you did not incur-which is time consuming at best to correct.
Platepass knows exactly what they are doing.
Taking the transponder off does not work everywhere--some areas record the license plate of the vehicle and you have no choice-especially in locations where a toll tag is the only option.
