But with CO I was told in the past my CO Plat will only get me into the PC at the Intl Gateway (from where I will be departing on the Intl segment) Coming back theres PC access if that airport has a PC otherwise now if it has a *G Lounge but then no access at EWR or IAH if making a connection onward from either.

I kinda feel that things will stay as is with CO and UA both doing what it has been doing till now. Just as UA isnt going to free drinks and CO isnt going to denying them

I think there are two items getting confused here.

First is that the OP is not a *G. *G has greater access to lounges than int'l business customers. What sbm12 quoted above is correct for Int'l Business customers -- it's gateway only access. When you were granted lounge access as 1K, that was as a *G.

*G's, however, have access to lounges at any point on that same ticket. The exception being that CO restricts it further, allowing it only at the international gateway.

Example for a *G:
- SFO-CO-IAH-CO-EZE in F/BusinessFirst = PC access at IAH only
- SFO-UA-IAH-CO-EZE in F/BusinessFirst = RCC access at SFO + PC access at IAH
