Fast forward a few hours, and by the middle of the night my boyfriend has a severe case of the runs, and by the morning he's throwing up violently. An hour or so later and I was also erupting from both ends. Not pretty! I'm still at home in bed with hot flushes and unable to keep anything down.

Given that it happened to both of us, it seems highly likely that it was food poisoning rather than some other explanation, which is why I was wondering whether we were the only ones affected. I reckon the finger of suspicion is pointing at the hot chicken wrap, my stomach is heaving even thinking about it!

Any other sufferers out there? Judging by this thread it doesn't sound like AC has a particularly stellar record of dealing with these kind of situations, but if we're not alone in being affected I was definitely planning to write to them. Any thoughts?
It's possible but there's also quite a bit of Norovirus going around at the moment. It's easily transmittable and the telltale signs are projectile vomitting and diarrhea (words I never though I'd be posting on Flyertalk)

Food poisoning, if you have it, is usually accompanied by severe stomach pain.

Stay hydrated. Water is your friend.
