Flew AC865 LHR-YUL in Y yesterday, now we have food poisoning. Anyone else?

My other half and I flew our first long haul AC flights in Y for many years yesterday, from LHR-YUL. We'd been commenting how relatively painless it was - entertainment and service decent, and food didn't seem bad either (we both had the steak for the meal after departure, then a chicken wrap for the late flight snack).

Fast forward a few hours, and by the middle of the night my boyfriend has a severe case of the runs, and by the morning he's throwing up violently. An hour or so later and I was also erupting from both ends. Not pretty! I'm still at home in bed with hot flushes and unable to keep anything down.

Given that it happened to both of us, it seems highly likely that it was food poisoning rather than some other explanation, which is why I was wondering whether we were the only ones affected. I reckon the finger of suspicion is pointing at the hot chicken wrap, my stomach is heaving even thinking about it!

Any other sufferers out there? Judging by this thread it doesn't sound like AC has a particularly stellar record of dealing with these kind of situations, but if we're not alone in being affected I was definitely planning to write to them. Any thoughts?
