Nope. It is main destination defined as "where you are going to spend most time". I have a friend who was going to enter at AMS and was planning to stay 3 days in the Netherlands and 5 days in France and the Dutch consulate sent him to the French consulate.
To the OP: you need to tell them that you are planning to stay 2 months or else they may give you a 14 days (or whatever) visa only. My relatives visit often and they only get Schengen visas for the exact days of their itinerary plus a few. So if they ask for 30 days they will get 32 or something like that. So the OP will have to give the consulate a full itinerary based on which they will decide how long the visa will be valid for. I am not sure if they need hotel reservations for the full two months.
