I've done this a few times in F. Crew on this route are usually CX 'Intl crew', mainly HK Males with Thai females. Excellent service and great Champagne (Krug).

CX253 is usually a 744 which has the newer F Suites (much better than the airbus or 777). IFE will be great (except for the commercials on the moving map - which you still get in F and J).

Food on CX is mediocre at best, but very well presented.
