I have done a lot of Advanced Purchase booking before mostly in Asia/Asia Pacific but I did one booking in the US 2 weeks ago on Advanced Purchased and I got charged right away.

Worst, the reservation did not appear on my current list so I have to call up PC and ask them to email me reservation copy and put it on my current reservation list.

I am already booked in an IC ( on a PB) about 45 minutes drive from the stadium that I am going but I guess with estimated 40,000-50,000 people attending, I am assuming traffic will be horrendous so I have to book an old HI nearby the stadium for $150. Wise idea? Price wise no. I am staying on the IC for 6 nights for just 30K points and 0$.I would never ever book an AP again. Its better to book on Flex.

jim - it's the Cowboys stadium and the IC is about 45 minuted drive without the traffic. There's an HI nearby and its just minutes by walk ( when i checked at tripadvisor though the rating is not that good).
