"Soft Landing" back to Gold is not a published benefit of the program, but is traditionally done when you don't requal for Plat. So for simplicity sake, I think it is showing the correct information... You only officially have QP access until your Plat membership expires. At that stage, you will be likely to either have Plat renewed (with the date incremented by a year), or dropped back to Gold, (and again the date incremented a year).
