i went to the bag shop down the local shopping centre.

they had this small device made of strong plastic with a hook attatch.. its to see how heavy the travel bags are in kilos. with a small digital lcd that runs with small batteries.. it cost 50.00 dollars.

Know since im allways concern how heavy my laptop bag is and this and that when i travel, instead of waighting my carry on laptop bag on the foot scale i have at home.. should i buy that small device from the bag shop?

know remember my laptop bag could be around 17.4 sizes and it feels like more then 7kilos from what ive been told as a guess.

i dont no if that small device could really acuracy tell me how heavy the bag is kg. i mean the device is small and plastic... the bag is heavy and strong... aint sure how that would work.

the device had a front picture of a small red bag.. much smaller like a 12 or 13 sizes carry on bag. I aint sure if i should buy it or buy it. or alternative another way to do it?

it would be silly to go 40minutes drive all the way from home to the airport to waight my bags and luggage.

yet the scale i have at home will never give me a true indication how heavy the bags are because the actual bags is not like as the whole bag is touching the scale.. only the middle of the bag is. thats like saying if you have big foots.. the scale didnt capture your toes because its sticking out of the scale :-)

anyways any tips ?

okies thanks. its good to know this sort of things before been stress and end up taking things out of the bags infront of the travellers which i think thats a dirty thing to do unfortunaly.
